Professional Development
In an effort to make implementing financial literacy state standards as easy as possible for teachers, we are providing FREE professional development to any teacher or school district interested. We are available for any length of time you need: anywhere from a one-period plan to a half-day institute. Our longer training sessions also provide an opportunity for teachers to earn CPDUs. We will tailor content to your individual classroom, school, or district’s needs.
During our sessions, we take a deep dive into what inquiry is and how it can be applied across any topic. We also focus on the financial literacy standards, providing sample lesson plans that can be replicated in the classroom. Teachers who have taken our training report feeling more comfortable, confident, and prepared to teach financial literacy and to implement inquiry skills in their classrooms.
