What ePAY Does

Since 2002, ePAY has helped Illinois local governments and state agencies accept secure digital payments at an affordable cost. The program supports credit cards, debit cards, mobile wallets, and ACH payments, giving residents more convenient payment options while reducing manual work for agencies.

Fund to The Illinois Funds

ePAY participants may earn more on available balances while maintaining immediate access to funds through The Illinois Funds, a Fitch AAAm-rated Local Government Investment Pool. The Illinois Funds give government agencies a safe way to invest public funds while benefiting from the scale of a pooled investment portfolio.

The Illinois Funds investment priorities are protecting principal, maintaining liquidity for immediate access to funds, and providing a competitive rate of return compared with similar options.
